Power that communicates

Four capabilities behind every Naali battery — always subject to the connectivity and options supported by the specific model you choose.

01
Cold-climate readiness
Monitored cell temperatures and active heating support charging and discharge in demanding Nordic conditions, within each model's documented temperature range.
02
Smart BMS & detailed telemetry
Track pack and cell voltages, current, temperatures, state of charge and state of health, and fault states in real time.
03
CAN bus & Bluetooth integration
Connect to supported inverter and monitoring systems where the selected model provides this interface — verify compatibility per project.
04
Finnish battery expertise
Sales, application support and battery service from Suomen Akkutalo Oy, based in Oulu, Finland.

Why we call it Naali

Naali is the Finnish word for the arctic fox — an animal built to thrive in the same cold, exposed conditions our batteries are engineered for. Small, resilient and efficient, it stores and conserves energy through the harshest Nordic winters.

All performance and safety statements rest on the documented specs and linked datasheets.

Choose your capacity

Naali is available today in three capacity tiers — 1.3 kWh, 2.6 kWh and 5.4 kWh — each offered with a choice of voltage wiring on the same physical unit. List prices below are ex. VAT (+ ALV).

Shared across every Naali capacity tier

3,500 cycles life @ 80% remaining capacity
200 A maximum discharge current
105 A maximum charge current (50 A recommended)
2 A cell balancing current
CAN bus (NMEA2000) + Bluetooth communication
3D-printed engineering polycarbonate enclosure, UL94-V0 flame-retardant rating
M8 brass or ESS Safe Connector terminals (160 A / 200 A variants)
Electric cell heating pads for cold-weather charging — wattage scales by size: 21 W (1.3 kWh) / 42 W (2.6 kWh) / 84 W (5.4 kWh)
Specifications are subject to change. Verify final configuration, charging design, protection, certification and installation requirements for the intended application. 5.4 kWh weight and dimensions are not yet published and are being confirmed with the supplier.

Note: the 5.4 kWh tier is not available in 12 V — only 25.6 V and 51.2 V. CE marking, where stated by the source, applies to the cells and BMS — not necessarily to the completed battery as a whole. Completed-product certifications, IP rating, transport documentation and warranty are not yet documented for these models and are not claimed here.

Field feedback, not a laboratory certification

Naali 1.3 kWh (12.8 V) — customer field use

During testing for a demanding Arctic rescue system, the Naali 1.3 kWh (12.8 V) was the only battery able to maintain the required 36 °C heat output for over four hours. A follow-up lab run exceeded 24 hours with no sign of performance drop before the test was called.
